At Homeplans.com, we get many requests from customers who want to know where a home has been built or if we have photos of a home that has been built. We encourage all of our customers to share their stories and the photos of their new homes by sending them to us. When we do get a photo or letter, we put them together and include them on our site so others can see what the homes look like when they’re done and what ideas and changes can be made to personalize a home to make it truly yours. We call these personal building experiences our customer testimonials.
A customer testimonial is our only real means of tracking built homes. Because customers order their home plans from one address and build at another—and may take several months to complete their home—we have no way of contacting past customers. The Customer Testimonial section of our site allows us to capture and share these stories with you. Each story and photo is unique and exciting—because each customer adds their own personal touches to the homes. As such, you should keep in mind that differences can be found in the customer’s final design and the original design featured in our home plan search. One customer may make a kitchen bigger, add a porch, expand a crawlspace to a basement, for example. The testimonials highlight these changes.
